The Famous Grouse

About The Famous Grouse

 2 Gerald Street, Lincoln

Lincoln is the home of the Famous Grouse Hotel and has been for over 140 years. Still standing in the same spot as it was in 1868, with a recent earthquake rebuild, the pub is considered the bustling hub of Lincoln, with meals created from locally sourced produce and a good selection of beers. The Famous Grouse is a whisky brewed in Perthshire Scotland, which links the hotel back to it's original name, The Perthshire Arms; named after the place the original owner, Andrew Arklie came from.

Turkish baked eggs with cumin flatbread and yoghurt

Be transported to Turkey for brunch with The Famous Grouse’s Turkish Baked Eggs.

A similar dish to the well-known Shakshuka, the baked eggs and venison offer a burst of flavour with each spoonful, nestled in a rich tomato and pepper sauce.

Paired with the warm, aromatic cumin flatbread, it's a delightful combination of textures and spices.

Completing the experience is the silky smoothness of herb yoghurt, adding a cool contrast to the bold, savoury notes of the dish.
