Get back to the old days in the small country towns of Selwyn with their quaint main streets. Wander through Leeston or Darfield and look for the best quality second hand and vintage stores. These shops give clothing and household items a second life, mixing environmental sustainability with individual style.
polkadotcom is a little recycled clothing boutique on the main street of Darfield, helping people to 'Be your own kind of Beautiful'. Their passion for sustainable fashion practices combined with creativity is what makes polkadotcom one of a kind. Kerri, the owner, saw a gap in the market between the waste of High Street fashion and the stigma of what op shopping (op shop smell, but good items to use) can bring.
She wanted to join the two to create a perfect blend of recycling with the creativity of fashion, trend and individuality. Kerri is also a trained stylist who has been doing workshops and wardrobe consultations for the last two years.
Hours: Wednesday–Friday 10am–5pm and Saturday 10am–1pm
