Held at 1800 metres above sea level, head up to Mt Olympus for their annual Curling Day
Join the Windwhistle Winter Sports Club for the Mt Olympus Curling Day.
Curling features two teams of four players sliding a large, granite stone on ice. The goal is to deliver the stone from one side to the circular scoring area on the other side, getting as close to the target as they can.
The event is held 1800 metres above sea level, on the tarn, a lake on the mountain at the top of the ski field.
Fancy dress is encouraged. Everybody is welcome - you don’t have to be a skier to be a part of this great event!
This event is subject to the weather. Postponement day is Sunday 14 August.
