The journey to our six ski fields winds through patchwork fields of Canterbury plains and tussock-covered, before climbing into the majestic Southern Alps. On the trip you’ll pass through many small townships each with unique offerings to meet your needs.

Gnomes Alpine Sports in Darfield is your one-stop-shop for all your ski gear hire. Pop in to see the friendly team and they’ll get you sorted.

A bridge and river crossing in the middle of beautiful Mountains, clouds in the skyMake sure you fuel yourself up along the way for a big day out! Darfield Bakery offers a perfectly brewed coffee for the coffee-lovers, or if you’re a bit peckish, stop off at the Famous Sheffield Pie Shop and grab one of their delicious pies.

If you are travelling early in the morning, you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a hot air balloon from Ballooning Canterbury drifting across the sky.

Further up the road in Springfield is the ideal toilet and petrol fuel stop! Plus, if you’re still hungry there are a number of tasty options!
