Venture through Cedar Park and discover 1.5 acres full of a variety of vibrant plants, trees and shrubs.

Dalkeith garden is described as a tranquil oasis of sunshine, birdsong and peacefulness, this four acre garden on Boundary Road, dates back to 1955.

See how spring has brought the award-winning Broadfield Garden to life, through its 3.5 hectares of blossoming plants and flowers.

Wander through Stoneycrop; a garden which has been carefully created since 2014 to provide year round interest from the first English snowdrops (Galanthus) in July through to the dahlias, asters and other perennials flowering until the first frosts in May. Stoneycrop also has wheelchair accessible paths. 

Discover the transformation of an old quarry at Casa Rossa into an established award-winning garden.

Right next door you will find The Herbal Garden with a mix of medicinal herbs and plants grown for health and wellbeing. 

Venture to Knockdolian in Darfield and see the established, rock, rose, veg, native and woodland garden and a number of deep perennial boarders.

Stoneycrop

Entry cost: $10

Stoneycrop has been a garden in the making since 2014. With an interest in rhododendrons, it is natural that this genus predominates. The garden has a large collection of NZ rhododendron hybrids as well as a selection of species and hybrids from alpines to giant leaved cultivars. The garden has wheelchair accessible paths and raised gardens in many areas including the vegetable garden.

Knockdolian

505 Deans Road, Darfield

Many Deans families lived in the small cottage, until the Bennetts purchased the property in 1993. It was Mr Les Bennett a keen rhododendron grower who planted the countless rhodos in the garden. In 1999 Steve and Michelle Lassche purchased the property and set about making the different areas of the garden.

Knockdolian now has an established, rock, rose, veg, native and woodland garden and a number of deep perennial boarders.
