Only one hours drive from Christchurch, nestled among the stunning landscape of the Rakaia Gorge, Benlea Farm tours take you on an in-depth experience of a sheep and cattle working farm. They will give you an insight into their busy country lifestyle and how they look after a flock of 5,000 sheep and 400 cattle!
And if you decide you want to stay; there is a cosy on-farm cottage you can settle into for the night and enjoy the stunning mountain views a while longer. Tours operate from October to May. Bookings are essential.
