Mountain House Motels

The Mountain House has a variety of different accomodation styles in the Village. The two Motel units are across the road from our Backpacker Lodge (and reception), and are modern self contained studio units.

The Motel units have a queen bed and can take up to 2 people. They are equipped with bathroom, kitchenette (with hot plates, fridge, microwave and jug and toaster) and TV with satellite free to air service. The units are insulated to a high modern standard and are of course heated. One of the units is built for disabled access for ease of use for those needing it. Parking is available directly in front and to the side of the units. The Mountain House also has two backpacker lodges in the Village (we are the YHA) and also two 4 bedroom cottages for larger groups/families. These Cottages can take up to 8 people each.
