The legendary Matagouri Ball returns to Mt White Station for a night celebrating the resilience, camaraderie, and traditions of the Canterbury high country.
Held in the station’s rustic barn beneath the stars, this special evening brings together locals, visitors, and lovers of the high-country lifestyle for music, storytelling, dancing, and incredible food inspired by the land.
Guests will be welcomed with bubbles on arrival before enjoying a three-course dinner showcasing Mt White Station produce, including canapés, a sit-down main, and a honey, cheese and port buffet dessert. A live band will keep the celebrations going late into the night, with a cash/EFTPOS bar available throughout the evening.
Dress in your best rural formal attire - where boots meet ballgowns and wool meets silk - and experience a modern revival of one of the high country’s most iconic traditions.
