We’re beekeepers based in Kirwee, with hives dotted across the CanterburyPlains and throughout Christchurch City. Many of our hives support local crop farmers who rely on bees for pollination, and in return our bees enjoy nectar-rich landscapes to thrive in.
At Kirwee Bees, we like to keep things simple and natural. Our honey is always 100% raw - unpasteurised, unfiltered, just as the bees made it. We also hand-make soothing Bee Rich Balm and natural lip balms in small batches using pure beeswax, almond oil, water, and a hint of essential oils.
We love helping others get into beekeeping too. We build full-depth and ¾-depth bee boxes, feeding boxes and nucs for hobbyist beekeepers, and we run information sessions where new and experienced keepers can learn from one another and share their skills.
