This is one of the most stunning alpine routes in Arthur’s Pass – and not for the faint-hearted. You’re in for 3 days of steep climbs, rock scrambling and river crossings, rewarded by vast views and unique landscape in the heart of our Southern Alps.
We’ll follow the Edwards-Hawdon Route through several rivers, remote valleys and over the rocky Taruahuna and Walker Pass. With jagged mountains to either side, it’s easy to forget life outside of the wild. This is a big trip that will take your mind off any stress or worries at home, that’s for sure. Connect with nature, the wildlife and this soulful place over an epic three days of exploring. To head out on an expert level adventure, we require all our visitors to prove they have the experience to do so. This is standard across all of Bushman Tours and we need you to share your passed trips or any certificates you might have.
